Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use IRLZ (“IRLZ”, “we”, “us”), including the website and the version you add to your home screen. By creating an account or using IRLZ, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use IRLZ.

2. Who can use IRLZ

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may have one account, and the information you give us must be accurate.
• You can't use IRLZ if we've banned you before, or if the law doesn't allow you to.

3. What IRLZ is

IRLZ helps content creators find each other nearby. You can create a profile, appear on a map in the general area you choose, browse and search other creators, and block or report other users. Profiles are public and can be viewed without an account.

IRLZ doesn't have in-app messaging and doesn't handle payments. Any contact, meeting or deal between users happens outside IRLZ, between them.

IRLZ is still being built. It's free, it may have bugs, and we may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time.

4. Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password straight away. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

5. Your content

You own what you put on IRLZ: your photo, username, bio, links and the videos you add. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and share that content as part of running IRLZ, for example on your public profile, on the map and in link previews when your profile is shared. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You're responsible for your content. Only post things you have the right to share, and keep private details like your address and phone number off your profile.

6. Rules

When you use IRLZ, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone;
• try to find out where another user lives or exactly where they are;
• pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent who you are or what you do;
• post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or infringes someone else's rights;
• spam, scam or defraud people, or promote schemes like crypto tokens;
• scrape, copy or collect other users' information, or use bots or automated tools on IRLZ;
• try to get around a block, a ban or our security, or to access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• break any law.

7. Meeting other users

We don't run background checks and can't verify who users are. You're responsible for your own interactions with other users, online and in person. Please follow our safety guidelines, and always meet in public for the first time.

8. Moderation

We automatically check usernames, bios and links before they're saved, and we review reports from users. If we believe someone has broken these terms or put others at risk, we may remove content, send a warning, or suspend or ban their account, with or without notice.

9. Other services

Profiles link to other sites (like Instagram, YouTube or Twitch) and can play videos from YouTube and Twitch. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

IRLZ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that IRLZ will always be available, secure or free of errors, or that information from other users is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, IRLZ isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of IRLZ or from your interactions with other users, online or in person.

12. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of IRLZ or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover the costs of that claim, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent the law allows.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as IRLZ changes. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about big changes. If you keep using IRLZ after a change, you accept the new terms.
